Happy Blogger

Today's Workout:
4 mile run

So, I had to tell you all in person (look at the video) that I am feeling a lot better today. This ice stuff really works. I opted to rest yesterday and it was the most dreadful feeling not to run, but I am thankful today that I didn't.





I went for a 4 mile jog this afternoon and I didn't feel any discomfort whatsoever. When I returned from my run, I iced my ankle again and I applied that crazy Tiger Balm stuff that smells like Ben-Gay (gross!).

I am a HAPPY BLOGGER today!
 
Maybe I feel inspired today because I feel better, or maybe because I've been reading Valerie Burton's book on how to be resilient, or perhaps it's because my friend Kelley is recovering so well after surgery (she's a triathlete who just had major surgery and she's already prepping to go for a run!), whatever it is, it pays off to be patient and determined.
 
Most of the times, we want answers now, or we want to recover now and everything is focused on NOW, but sometimes, you just have to let life takes its course. Ask and you shall receive what you want, sooner or later.
