How to.....on Tuesdays

Today's workout:
6 mile recovery run

Howdy y'all! Today, I decided to take a nice 6 mile stroll down a different path that led me to this:

Needless to say, my new running route had lots to offer... I saw horses on the road....I also saw huge mosquitos and mountain-sized ant piles....

Surely it wasn't the Key Biscayne Bridge or the ocean, but the countryside was a nice change.

I learned a couple of things today:

1st: The importance of wearing a cap/visor/hat/sombrero when running &

2nd: Wearing blue blockers (aka sunglasses) isn't just for the sun!

It's important to wear a hat for a couple of reason such as, to block the sun's UV rays from your eyes and to avoid from squinting like this:

My eyes were burning! Ugh!

Hats may also help you with flying debris in the air... But, it will not protect from this:

Or from this:

Which is why these are necessary:

Sunglasses provide cover from flying debris and the sun!!

So my friends, next time you decide to take a nice stroll down the countryside (or anywhere really), don't forget to wear a hat and sunglasses. The two will provide cover from the sun and from flying gnats and grass in the air!

HAPPY RUNNING!
